Aston Martin Unveils Limited Edition Valiant Model in Partnership with Fernando Alonso

Luxury British carmaker, Aston Martin, has revealed its highly anticipated limited edition 'Valiant' sports car in collaboration with Spanish racing driver, Fernando Alonso. With only 38 models available worldwide, each priced at approximately £2 million (€2.37 million) excluding tax, all units have already been pre-sold ahead of the expected deliveries in the fourth quarter of this year.
The Valiant model, unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, is inspired by Aston Martin's 110th-anniversary celebration vehicle, the Valour, which sold out within two weeks of its launch last year, with each car valued over €1.4 million. Fernando Alonso's involvement in the design process was driven by his experience with the Valour model, aiming to create a more extreme and race car-inspired version focused on track performance, while still delivering an exhilarating drive on the road.
Working closely with Aston Martin's "Q by Aston Martin" team, known for their homage to the iconic James Bond novels, Alonso expressed his belief that they have created a masterpiece with the Valiant model. The car features all-carbon fiber bodywork and is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, showcasing the brand's commitment to cutting-edge technology and delivering class-leading power and driving dynamics.
The Aston Martin Valiant joins the esteemed lineup of collectible specials, including the Valkyrie, Vantage, and Valhalla models. With a focus on manufacturing new cars to drive profit growth, Aston Martin has ceased production of its older models. However, the Valiant is described as a vehicle that pays homage to the brand's heritage, while also looking towards the future, drawing inspiration from the Aston Martin DBS V8.
Amidst some recent downbeat earnings data, Aston Martin is hopeful that the introduction of new models like the Valiant will aid the company's turnaround. With the Valiant already sold out and deliveries set for the end of the year, Aston Martin continues to appeal to true driving connoisseurs with its blend of performance, luxury, and cutting-edge design.
