**Arsenal Overcomes Early Setback to Secure 3-1 Victory Against Southampton**

Arsenal demonstrated resilience as they came back from an early setback to clinch a 3-1 win over Southampton, keeping them in close contention with league leaders Liverpool as they approach the international break. Bukayo Saka was instrumental in the triumph, scoring and assisting in two other goals, ensuring Arsenal's unbeaten streak continues this season.

Despite showing initial promise, Arsenal struggled to penetrate Southampton's defense in the first half. The visitors capitalized on this, with Cameron Archer surprising everyone by putting Southampton ahead early in the second half.

However, Arsenal's response was swift. Kai Havertz netted an emphatic finish shortly after, drawing Arsenal level and matching Robin van Persie's record of scoring in seven consecutive matches at the Emirates Stadium. It was Saka who set up Havertz, showcasing his playmaking ability.

The young England international displayed his skill once again with a superb cross that allowed substitute Gabriel Martinelli to volley home at the back post at the 68-minute mark, giving Arsenal the lead.

To cap off a stellar performance, Saka fired a low shot past Aaron Ramsdale late in the game, ensuring all three points for Mikel Arteta’s squad. The win keeps Arsenal well within reach of the top of the table, poised to challenge Liverpool as the season progresses.
