Apple's recent software update, iOS 17.3, has brought forth a crucial feature that iPhone users should be aware of - Stolen Device Protection. This safety measure comes in response to reports of thieves spying on users' passcodes before stealing their devices, particularly in public settings. The Wall Street Journal had previously shed light on this issue.

In related news, back in October 2022, Apple made changes to its App Store Review Guidelines. The update stated that social media apps selling "boosted" posts must use the App Store's in-app purchase system, leading to Apple receiving up to a 30% share of these sales. In response to this policy clarification from Apple, Meta has announced plans to implement a similar 30% fee for advertisers purchasing boosted posts through platforms like Facebook.

Looking ahead, Apple enthusiasts can anticipate a busy March, with expectations of new MacBook Air, iPad Pro, and iPad Air models being released during the month. Apple has also confirmed the upcoming launch of iOS 17.4 in March, adding to the excitement of what's to come from the tech giant in the near future.
