### Oregon, Georgia, Miami, and BYU Maintain Leading Positions in Latest AP College Football Playoff Projection

In the latest Associated Press College Football Playoff projections released on Sunday, Oregon, Georgia, Miami, and BYU held steadfast as the top four seeds. These teams retained their positions as the final projections were made before the initial CFP rankings of the season are unveiled.

Oregon, Georgia, and Miami each secured victories over the weekend, solidifying their status as projected conference champions. Meanwhile, BYU maintained its top-four seed despite being idle. The new bracket also includes Indiana making its debut, boosting the Big Ten and SEC representation with four teams each in advance of Tuesday night’s CFP rankings.

Indiana's landmark entry into the AP poll top 10 secured it the No. 9 seed, setting them up for an opening-round game against No. 8 Tennessee. Alabama re-entered the bracket as the No. 11 seed and is slated to face off against No. 6 Texas.

The Playoff uses a distinct format where the top four seeds are awarded to the highest-ranked conference champions, regardless of their national ranking. Furthermore, the five top-ranked conference champions are ensured spots in the bracket without any limitations on the number of teams from a single conference.

This week's breakdown from the AP Top 25 reveals several intriguing matchups:
- No. 9 Indiana versus No. 8 Tennessee, with the winner advancing to play No. 1 Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
- No. 12 Boise State against No. 5 Ohio State, with the victor set to challenge No. 4 BYU in the Fiesta Bowl.
- No. 10 Notre Dame taking on No. 7 Penn State, aiming for a chance to face No. 2 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
- No. 11 Alabama colliding with No. 6 Texas, with the winner eyeing a match against No. 3 Miami in the Peach Bowl.

Indiana and Alabama have moved into this week’s bracket, replacing Texas A&M and Clemson/Iowa State. Teams just shy of the top 12 include SMU, LSU, Texas A&M, Mississippi, and Iowa State.
