Anti-Kremlin activist Alexei Navalny, who had been serving a 19-year prison sentence in Russia on charges of extremism, has passed away. World leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, have expressed dismay and suspicion over Navalny's death. Navalny's friend and CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, Bill Browder, accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of being behind the death. Amid allegations and concerns, Russia's Foreign Ministry has dismissed Western reactions to the incident. The prison service mentioned that Navalny's cause of death is still to be determined, while the Kremlin has pledged to investigate the matter. Navalny, a prominent critic of Putin, was previously poisoned in August 2020 but survived the attempt. The circumstances surrounding his death remain under scrutiny.
