In anticipation of Tesla's highly anticipated Robotaxi event, speculation is mounting on what surprises the automaker may unveil alongside its self-driving vehicle platform. One analyst, Adam Jonas of Morgan Stanley, has made some bold predictions, suggesting that Tesla could showcase its most advanced Full Self-Driving suite and potentially offer rides in fully autonomous Robotaxis.

Based on recent reports indicating that the event will take place at Warner Brothers studio in Los Angeles, along with new information of data gathering in the area, the possibility of drive demonstrations seems quite likely. However, Jonas believes these demonstrations will likely include a driver, as Tesla currently holds a permit for testing autonomous vehicles with human supervision.

Nevertheless, Jonas's predictions go even further, suggesting that Tesla could go beyond expectations and present astonishing innovations at the event. These include the introduction of an electric plane, a boat, or even the latest generation Optimus robot serving burgers at a hypothetical Tesla Diner. While these predictions may seem ambitious, the analyst emphasizes that there are no limits to what Tesla might unveil.

Expectations for the Robotaxi event are sky-high, especially considering that CEO Elon Musk chose to delay the event in order to incorporate a design change and enhance the overall presentation. Initially scheduled for August 8th, Musk confirmed the delay to October, stating that the additional time would allow Tesla to showcase a few other compelling features.

Adding fuel to speculation, the boldest prediction for the event comes from Jonas, who believes Tesla will unveil wireless charging capabilities for its future vehicles. This aligns with Tesla's previous ventures into wireless charging technology after its acquisition and subsequent sale of Wiferion last year. Tesla has long hinted at wireless charging, with Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen mentioning the development of inductive EV charging during an interview with Jay Leno.

While observers eagerly anticipate Tesla's potential showcase of wireless charging technology, it remains uncertain whether this feature will be released to customers in the near future or if it is merely a concept being showcased at the event.

With Tesla's Robotaxi event just around the corner, excitement is building as industry enthusiasts and investors eagerly await the unveiling of groundbreaking innovations from one of the world's most innovative automakers.
