**Amazon Employees Urge Reversal of Return-to-Office Policy**

More than 500 Amazon employees have collectively appealed to AWS CEO Matt Garman to reconsider the company's mandated return-to-office (RTO) policy. This request was conveyed through a letter sent on Wednesday, highlighting their disapproval of the company's decision to require employees to be physically present in the office five days a week starting in 2025.

The dissatisfaction stems from a statement Garman made, claiming that nine out of ten workers he consulted endorsed the RTO policy. The signatories of the letter contested this statistic, arguing that it does not align with the experiences of a significant portion of the workforce. They expressed their disappointment and frustration over Garman's justification, describing it as lacking a data-driven foundation.

Despite the pushback, AWS appears firm on maintaining the RTO directive. Earlier this month, Garman suggested that employees unhappy with the policy could seek employment elsewhere, reinforcing the company's stance on the matter. The situation remains tense, as the employees await a response to their collective plea.
