**New Airline Routes Announced for Colorado Springs Airport**
The Colorado Springs Airport is set to expand its offerings as Allegiant Air introduces new nonstop routes starting early next year. The airline has announced that Colorado Springs, along with Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Columbia, South Carolina, will be added to its roster of destinations.
"We're excited to announce that Allegiant is expanding nationwide, offering even more travel options to our customers," said Drew Wells, Allegiant's chief commercial officer. "These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to meet customer demand. By connecting more cities, we're making it easier for travelers to visit family and friends, access top leisure destinations, and create new memories."
Travelers looking for a beach getaway are in for a treat, with two of the three new routes leading to Florida and Southern California. Among the new routes, Allegiant will offer flights to Phoenix/Mesa, Arizona, starting February 12, 2025, with fares starting as low as $49 one-way. Additionally, flights to Santa Ana/Orange County, California will commence on February 13, 2025, with one-way tickets priced from $59. Lastly, starting February 14, 2025, passengers can fly to St. Pete/Tampa, Florida, with fares beginning at $69 one-way.
