Alabama Fertility Clinics Halt IVF Services After Court Ruling

Following a recent ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court that classified frozen embryos as children under state law, three fertility clinics in Alabama have taken action by either stopping or limiting in vitro fertilization (IVF) services. This decision by the state's highest court has prompted legislators to propose clarifications regarding the ruling.

In another development, cybersecurity researchers have come across a significant data leak exposing sensitive documents related to hacking activities carried out by a Chinese company known as i-Soon. The leaked documents revealed the company's focus on surveilling and harassing critics of the Chinese government. Target lists included 14 government agencies, academic institutions, and pro-democracy organizations. The leaked materials shed light on the company's targets, methods, and marketing materials for the Chinese government.
