Famed for his role as Doctor Odyssey, the 46-year-old actor has initiated legal action by filing for an emergency custody order modification. This comes after Jodie, the 38-year-old star of Queen & Slim, allegedly switched their 5-year-old daughter Juno's school without consulting him.

Court documents obtained by People reveal Joshua's concerns over Jodie's actions. He claims that Jodie believes it is "no big deal" to have Juno adjust to a new school environment. Additionally, Joshua fears that Jodie is orchestrating a situation where Juno might end up traveling with her, thereby disrupting her traditional education.

In an effort to maintain stability in Juno’s life, Joshua is petitioning the court to mandate that Juno continues at her current school for the next academic year. Moreover, he seeks a joint consent arrangement with Jodie for any future schooling decisions.

Joshua and Jodie's relationship dates back to their marriage in August 2019. They welcomed Juno into the world in April 2020. Their marriage came to an end four years later, with Jodie filing for divorce in October 2023.
