9-year-old Pranysqa Mishra Earns Golden Buzzer on America's Got Talent with Soulful Performance

" The talented young singer amazed judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, as well as host Terry Crews, with her soulful rendition of Ike and Tina Turner's iconic song, "River Deep - Mountain High."
Despite her meek demeanor and nervousness prior to her performance, Pranysqa's voice filled the auditorium with a maturity and power beyond her years. "I always just love singing," she shared. "It makes me feel happy. Even when I was like 4 years old, I would just pretend like I have a microphone, and I would just sing like I'm singing to the whole world."
Prior to taking the stage, Pranysqa confessed to feeling nervous about singing in front of the notorious stickler, Simon Cowell. However, she viewed this moment as part of her journey towards chasing her dream. "I feel like, literally, I'm dreaming because my big dream is singing in front of so many people and I'm on that big stage," she expressed. "Now it's coming true."
When given the opportunity to choose her favorite judge, Pranysqa picked Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara, which prompted a lighthearted comment from Cowell. She also revealed her admiration for musical legends Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Tina Turner.
Then the moment arrived. As Pranysqa began singing the opening lines of the song, "When I was a little girl, I had a rag doll," the entire auditorium was captivated by her performance. With each note, her voice grew stronger, deeper, and higher, captivating everyone in the room, including the judges. By the end, Pranysqa received a standing ovation from the audience and three of the judges.
Heidi Klum, overwhelmed by Pranysqa's talent, bypassed voting and pressed the coveted Golden Buzzer, securing Pranysqa's place in the live rounds. Overwhelmed with joy, the young singer was moved to tears as Klum embraced her onstage. Pranysqa's family also joined in the celebration, sharing emotional hugs.
Even the notoriously critical Simon Cowell couldn't help but praise Pranysqa's astounding performance. "I mean she actually is really, really good," he admitted, clearly impressed by her talent.
