### JUUL Class Action Lawsuit: Payouts Begin for $300M Settlement

Payments are now being distributed as part of a $300 million class action lawsuit settlement against JUUL, the e-cigarette company. This settlement addresses claims relating to JUUL's alleged unlawful marketing practices targeting minors and accusations that consumers were not adequately informed about the product's addictiveness.

Recipients of the settlement have reported receiving sums ranging from a few hundred dollars to as much as $9,000. The precise amount each customer received depended partly on the number of purchase receipts they could provide.

The deadline for filing claims has already passed, and the payments are now in motion. However, it is important to note that the court has yet to make a final decision on whether any laws were violated in this case.
