### Riyadh Hosts Official Player Portrait Session for 2024 WTA Finals
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - In a historic moment for tennis, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has unveiled the official portraits and group photographs for the 2024 WTA Finals, which will be held in Riyadh for the first time. The esteemed event, set against the backdrop of Diriyah's historic district, marks the 53rd edition of the season-ending tournament.
Captured by acclaimed New York-based photographer Jingyu Lin, the portraits feature the top eight singles players and doubles teams. Lin's work has also appeared in prestigious publications such as The New York Times, Variety, Teen Vogue, and The Wall Street Journal.
The players were styled in outfits from a selection of renowned international designers. Aryna Sabalenka donned Christopher Esber, Coco Gauff wore a creation by Yousef Akbar, Elena Rybakina appeared in an Elie Saab gown, Jasmine Paolini chose Bruno Cucinelli, and Zheng Qinwen was dressed in Christian Dior. The doubles players received their outfits from Reformation, and additional adornments came from 4element jewelry. Savage Fenty provided robes for the players' Style Suite.
Central to the group photographs are the trophies that competitors will vie for over the next eight days: the Billie Jean King Trophy for the singles champion and the Martina Navratilova Trophy for the victorious doubles team. The competition kicks off on Saturday, November 2 at 3:30 PM local time at the King Saud University Sports Arena, with a record prize fund of $15.25 million up for grabs.
