$2 Million Mega Millions Ticket Sold at Stater Bros. in Cathedral City

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - In the latest drawing of the Mega Millions lottery, no tickets were sold with all six numbers, resulting in the estimated jackpot climbing to a staggering $687 million for Friday's drawing. However, one lucky ticket purchased in Riverside County, specifically at a Stater Bros. on Ramon Road in Cathedral City, is worth a substantial $2,151,945.

The Multi-State Lottery Association, which oversees the game, announced that while there were no tickets with all six numbers, two tickets were sold with five matching numbers, but lacking the Mega number. The first ticket, sold in Cathedral City, has won a hefty $2,151,945. The second ticket, sold in Michigan, is worth a still-impressive $1 million.

The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday were 2, 49, 50, 61, 70, with the Mega number being 14. It is worth noting that this marked the 25th drawing since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold, further adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the next drawing.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are incredibly slim, at 1 in 302,575,350, according to the California Lottery. However, the overall chance of winning a prize in the Mega Millions lottery is 1 in 24, offering some hope to participants.

As the jackpot continues to climb, many individuals are eagerly purchasing their tickets, hoping to be the lucky winner of this life-changing prize. With a $687 million jackpot on the line, it's safe to say that this drawing has captured the attention of lottery enthusiasts across the country.

Friday's drawing will undoubtedly be an exciting event, as participants anxiously await the results to see if they have become an instant millionaire.
