Las Vegas-based rock band The Killers have exciting news for their fans as they gear up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Hot Fuss. The group will be playing the iconic album in its entirety during a series of eight shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, their hometown of Las Vegas.

The highly anticipated shows are scheduled to take place between August 14 and August 30, giving fans plenty of opportunities to catch the band live. Tickets for these special gigs will be available for purchase starting January 27.

What makes these concerts even more exceptional is the participation of all four original members of The Killers. Singer Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer, and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr will reunite on stage, providing fans with a truly nostalgic and unforgettable experience.

This reunion is particularly notable as Stoermer and Keuning stepped away from touring in recent years. Stoermer stopped touring with the group in 2016 due to hearing issues and burnout from the road. Meanwhile, Keuning took a break between 2017 and 2020 to spend more time with his family. However, both remained official members of the band throughout their breaks.

During Keuning's absence, rhythm guitarist Ted Sablay filled in and played lead. Stoermer also did not participate in the recording sessions for The Killers' 2021 album, Pressure Machine, while Keuning was absent on their previous album, "Imploding The Mirage."

The Hot Fuss anniversary shows in Las Vegas will offer the band a chance to revisit the songs that helped skyrocket their career. Hits like "Mr. Brightside," "Somebody Told Me," "All Things That I've Done," "Smile Like You Mean It," "Andy, You're a Star," and "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine" have been staples in their live performances for the past two decades. It's difficult to imagine a concert by The Killers without at least the beloved classic, "Mr. Brightside," being played.

Notably, the second half of Hot Fuss includes some rarities that the band has not performed often in recent years. Songs like "On Top," last played in 2016, "Believe Me Natalie," not played since 2018, and "Everything Will Be Alright," untouched since 2005, may make a long-awaited comeback during these shows.

Moreover, the Hot Fuss anniversary gigs mark the first time The Killers will perform an album from start to finish. This special endeavor will undoubtedly create an incredible experience for both the band and their fans.

In addition to the anniversary shows, The Killers have recently released a compilation album called Rebel Diamonds, featuring the new song "Spirit." They are currently promoting it with a European tour, along with appearances at Boston Calling and the Governors Ball Music Festival.

Fans eagerly await more updates from The Killers, as there were talks of a new album in the works last year. However, frontman Brandon Flowers revealed that the band scrapped the project, explaining that he no longer felt inclined to produce synth-pop records reminiscent of their early work. Flowers expressed his desire to explore new musical territories that resonate with his current artistic vision.
