Croatia and Albania played out an exciting 2-2 draw in their UEFA Euro 2024 group stage match at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg. Despite the result, both teams showed moments of brilliance and fought hard for the victory.

Albania took an early lead in the 11th minute when Qazim Laci headed home a cross from Jasir Asani. The goal put Croatia on the backfoot and Albania dominated the first half, frustrating their opponents with their solid defensive display.

In the second half, Croatia made some crucial substitutions that turned the game around. Andrej Kramarić equalized in the 74th minute with a well-taken shot, assisted by Ante Budimir. Just two minutes later, Albania suffered an own goal as Klaus Gjasula deflected the ball into his own net, giving Croatia a 2-1 lead.

However, Albania refused to give up and fought back until the last minute. In the 90th+5 minute, Klaus Gjasula redeemed himself by scoring the equalizer for Albania with a left-footed shot from inside the box. The match ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

The social media reaction to the game was mixed. Some fans praised the intensity and entertainment provided by both teams, while others criticized Croatia's performance and questioned the decision-making of the manager.
