Bahia dominated the match against Atletico-MG, securing a convincing 3-0 victory. The game took place on September 15 at an undisclosed venue.

The first half saw both teams locked in a goalless battle, with neither side able to break the deadlock before the halftime whistle blew. However, it was in the second half that Bahia displayed their attacking prowess.

In the 51st minute, Everaldo opened the scoring for Bahia, putting them ahead with a well-taken goal. Thaciano provided the assist, setting up Everaldo perfectly to convert the chance.

Bahia continued to apply pressure and extended their lead in the 58th minute. Everton Ribeiro found the back of the net with a clinical finish, courtesy of an assist from Cauly.

Atletico-MG attempted to find a way back into the game by making a series of substitutions in the 64th minute. Bernard, Deyverson, Renzo Saravia, and Gustavo Scarpa were all introduced into the match in an effort to turn the tide in their favor. However, Bahia's defense remained resolute, denying Atletico-MG any real opportunities.

Bahia then made their own substitutions in the 74th minute, bringing on Rafael Ratao, Ademir, L. Rodriguez, and Alan Kardec. The fresh legs injected further energy into Bahia's attack, but they were unable to convert any more chances.

In the 79th minute, Rezende replaced Caio Alexandre for Bahia as the match approached its final moments. Kanu received a yellow card for Bahia in the 80th minute, while Everson was booked for unsportsmanlike conduct for Atletico-MG in the 82nd minute.

As the clock ticked towards the 90th minute, Bahia sealed their victory with a third goal. Rafael Ratao, just two minutes after coming on as a substitute, found the back of the net. L. Rodriguez provided the assist, ensuring a comfortable 3-0 triumph for Bahia.

The game ended with Bahia celebrating a dominant performance and three valuable points. They will now look forward to their next match against Fortaleza in the Serie A on September 22.

As for Atletico-MG, they will have a chance to bounce back when they face Fluminense in the CONMEBOL Libertadores on September 18.
