Oakland Roots Sports Club has unveiled plans for the 2025 season at the Oakland Coliseum, including the field orientation and general capacity. The stadium will have a general capacity of 15,000 for most games, with the possibility of scaling up for select matches, such as the Home Opener in March. The field will run up the traditional 3rd base line, utilizing the left field/3rd base line lower bowl as the primary seating area for fans, featuring an all-grass surface.
"The Coliseum and Oakland Roots have a unique and special atmosphere that we will maintain as they merge together for a special 2025 season," said Oakland Roots SC Chief Marketing Officer Edreece Arghandiwal. "We're going to bring the culture and passion and make it feel both intimate and expansive at the same time."
The club has made Season Membership Ticket Deposits available for the 2025 season, starting at just $5.10. Fans can also secure discount tickets to a 2024 match of their choice with deposits starting at $51. Premium seats for 2024 are available at $510, and season-long suite deposits can be made at $5,100.
