Minnesota United has officially confirmed its roster moves in the aftermath of the 2024 Major League Soccer campaign. The club exercised contract options for several players, while also making decisions on those with guaranteed contracts for the upcoming 2025 season.
Among those whose contract options were exercised are goalkeepers Alec Smir and Dayne St. Clair, defenders Morris Duggan, Anthony Markanich Jr., and Devin Padelford, midfielders Hassani Dotson, Bongokuhle Hlongwane, and Sam Shashoua, and forward Tani Oluwaseyi. Players with guaranteed contracts for the 2025 season include mainstays like defenders Michael Boxall, Ethan Bristow, Jefferson Diaz, and DJ Taylor, as well as familiar midfielders and forwards.
