The announcement was made today, solidifying Bombito's move to Europe and surpassing Colorado's previous outbound transfer record. The Rapids have secured a percentage of the potential future sell-on rights for the player.

President of the Colorado Rapids, Pádraig Smith, expressed the club's pride in Bombito's remarkable performances for both the club and his country, noting the 24-year-old's bright prospects in the game. Bombito's development as a top player in North American soccer during his tenure with the Rapids has seen him excel in various matches, including scoring two goals this season.

Throughout the 2024 season, Bombito featured in 18 matches with 17 starts, accumulating a total of 1,547 minutes on the field. His first MLS career goal was netted in a victory over LAFC on March 30.
