Crystal Palace and Leicester City played to a thrilling 2-2 draw in the English Premier League match held at Selhurst Park.

The match started with both teams showing their attacking prowess, but it was Leicester City who took the lead in the 21st minute. Jamie Vardy scored a brilliant goal from a difficult angle on the right, assisted by Wilfred Ndidi's through ball, giving Leicester a 1-0 advantage.

Crystal Palace made a substitution during halftime, bringing on Will Hughes for Cheick Doucouré due to an injury. However, it was Leicester who struck again early in the second half. Stephy Mavididi scored with a powerful shot from the center of the box, assisted by Ndidi once again, extending Leicester's lead to 2-0.

Crystal Palace quickly responded just a minute later. Jean-Philippe Mateta found the back of the net from very close range, following a cross from Tyrick Mitchell. After a VAR review, the goal was awarded, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of Leicester.

The intensity continued to rise as the game progressed, with both teams exchanging substitutions. In the 79th minute, Jordan Ayew of Leicester was shown a yellow card for a bad foul. Crystal Palace continued to push for an equalizer, making another substitution in the 89th minute, as Jeffrey Schlupp replaced Tyrick Mitchell.

The drama reached its peak in stoppage time when Crystal Palace was awarded a penalty. Jean-Philippe Mateta coolly converted the spot-kick, firing a right-footed shot into the center of the goal, completing his brace and sealing a 2-2 draw for Crystal Palace.

The result left both teams with a point each. Crystal Palace's next game will be against Manchester United on September 21st, while Leicester City will face Everton on the same day in the Premier League.
