CINCINNATI - The highly anticipated 91st Crosstown Shootout between the Xavier Musketeers and the University of Cincinnati Bearcats is set to take place on December 9, 2023.

The visiting Bearcats will clash with the Musketeers at the Cintas Center, with tip-off scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Fans not able to attend the game in person can catch the action on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) or stream it on Sling TV and Fubo.

Heading into the matchup, Xavier holds a record of 4-5, coming off a recent loss to the Delaware Blue Hens. Meanwhile, the Bearcats boast a flawless 7-0 record, enjoying an unbeaten season so far.

This game is about more than just another victory—it's a battle for bragging rights. For over two decades, Xavier has dominated the Crosstown Shootout games at the Cintas Center. The last time the Bearcats emerged victorious on Xavier's home court was on December 14, 2001. However, UC managed to secure an overall win on December 8, 2019, at the Fifth Third Arena.

Last year, Xavier secured an intense 80-77 victory during a nail-biting matchup at UC's Fifth Third Arena. This win marked the fourth consecutive triumph for the Musketeers in this nearly century-old rivalry. Despite last year's loss and Xavier's historical success at the Cintas Center, UC still maintains a 51-39 overall lead against Xavier in this longstanding basketball tradition.

As the Xavier Musketeers and the University of Cincinnati Bearcats gear up for their 91st Crosstown Shootout, fans from both sides are eagerly anticipating an electrifying game that promises to be filled with intense competition and thrilling moments.
