In a shocking turn of events, WWE appears to have carefully orchestrated the negative reaction from Seth Rollins towards CM Punk's return at Survivor Series. This calculated move reportedly aimed to test Punk's resilience and readiness for a potential feud with Rollins. If all goes according to plan, this intense rivalry could culminate in a headline match at WrestleMania 41.

Following the conclusion of Survivor Series, video footage emerged on social media, capturing Rollins using harsh language, flipping off Punk, and needing to be restrained by WWE personnel. Sources have confirmed that Rollins was intentionally provoked, as part of a premeditated angle constructed by WWE.

Wrestling insider Dave Meltzer revealed that this controversial incident was a planned test for Punk, suggesting WWE may have recorded the altercation and could potentially release the footage when the Punk vs. Rollins feud officially commences. Prior to Punk's return, Rollins had made several disparaging comments about him in interviews, referring to him as a "cancer" at one point.

Although there may be some actual animosity between Punk and Rollins from their previous encounters in WWE, it is unlikely to deter the company from pushing forward with a potential clash between the two Superstars. Despite Punk's reported backstage issues in his previous stint with AEW, he is expected to exhibit exemplary behavior during his WWE comeback.

With the ongoing exchanges of verbal jabs between Rollins and Punk, it appears inevitable that a match between them will take place, possibly at either the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania 40.

In other news, celebrated tag team duo Matt and Jeff Hardy have expressed their interest in exploring a heel run in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Throughout their illustrious careers, the Hardy Boyz have predominantly portrayed heroic characters. However, in a recent episode of the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Jeff mentioned being "most excited" about the possibility of a heel turn as it would be a fresh and unexplored dynamic for the brothers.

Both Matt and Jeff enjoyed immense success as The Hardy Boyz in WWE, clinching a remarkable nine world tag team titles together. While Matt made the jump to AEW in March 2020 after departing from WWE, Jeff remained with the latter organization for a brief period before joining his brother in AEW in March 2022.

Unfortunately, their initial stint in AEW was cut short due to Jeff's suspension following a DUI arrest. However, he returned to AEW programming 10 months later, reuniting with Matt. Despite the excitement surrounding their reunion, The Hardys have not managed to secure prominent positions within the tag team division in recent months.

During the podcast conversation, Matt expressed frustration over their utilization in AEW, stating that they have been patient but increasingly dissatisfied with how their talents have been utilized thus far. AEW has a strong roster of beloved babyface tag teams like FTR and The Acclaimed, and a potential heel turn for The Hardys could provide the catalyst needed to thrust them back into the spotlight.

While specific details regarding potential heel storylines for The Hardys remain undisclosed, the wrestling community eagerly awaits the unveiling of this new chapter in their careers.

As the road to WrestleMania inches closer, the WWE Universe anticipates the official announcement of a compelling Punk vs. Rollins feud and the potential clash of these two dynamic Superstars in the main event of WrestleMania 41. The stage is set, and all eyes will be on these rivalries as the journey to the grandest stage in professional wrestling continues.
