Cancellations of TCU Basketball Games Due to Injuries Impact Big 12 Record

FORT WORTH - TCU's upcoming basketball games against No. 7 Kansas State and No. 24 Iowa State have been cancelled. The decision to cancel the games was made in consideration of the injuries within the TCU program, prioritizing the health and safety of the student-athletes.

The cancellations mean that TCU will forfeit both games, in accordance with Big 12 rules. Unfortunately, there are no plans to reschedule these games in the future.

These forfeits will only impact TCU's Big 12 win-loss record, leaving the team to reevaluate their standings within the conference.

For fans who had purchased tickets for the game against Kansas State, there is an opportunity to exchange them for tickets to any remaining home game, subject to availability. However, no ticket refunds will be issued for the cancelled game.

As TCU deals with these unfortunate injuries, attention is being paid to the recovery of the student-athletes and their return to the court. The TCU program will be working diligently to ensure the strength and readiness of their team for future games and challenges.
