In a show of unity and support, Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez has publicly backed Christian Horner, team principal of the renowned racing team, amidst ongoing allegations of inappropriate behavior. Red Bull GmbH, the global company that owns Red Bull Racing, has commissioned an independent investigation to address the claims.

Horner has vehemently denied the allegations, expressing his confidence in his innocence during the launch of RB20 and reaffirming his commitment to the team. "I'm confident in [my innocence]," Horner stated to British newspapers. "If I wasn't, I wouldn't be here." Perez, fully aware of the importance of continuity within the team, hopes that the entire team remains intact to sustain their track record of success.

"We want the whole team to stay together because we've been so successful," Perez remarked. Emphasizing the significance of Horner's role, he added, "He will be able to just keep the whole team together and focus on racing." For Perez, the primary objective is to maintain a cohesive unit dedicated to winning championships and propelling the organization forward.

Although the investigation has been a distraction, Horner emphasized the importance of unity within the team. "Obviously there are some things out there, but the most important is we stick together as a team," Horner acknowledged. "We work well, and the main goal [is] remembering we are here for racing."

Horner, determined to continue leading the team, outlined his achievements at Red Bull Racing and underlined his commitment to the organization. "I'm absolutely committed to this team," he asserted. "I've been here since the beginning. I've built this team." Horner highlighted the team's stellar track record, including 113 wins, seven drivers' world championships, and six constructors' world championships over their 19 seasons in Formula One.

Looking towards the future, Horner focused on the evolving challenges ahead. "That's in the history books now, but it's what lies ahead that's important," he asserted. Despite the ongoing investigation, he confirmed his presence for the pre-season test and first race in Bahrain.

As Red Bull Racing awaits the results of the independent investigation, the team relies on its unity and unwavering focus on success. With the support of Perez and the determination of Horner, the team aims to continue their legacy of excellence and dominance in the world of Formula One.
