In a stunning display of talent, Jude Bellingham once again proved why he is currently making the difference for Real Madrid. The midfielder's exceptional goal-scoring abilities were on full display as he netted two crucial goals in their 2-1 El Clásico victory over Barcelona on Saturday. Carlo Ancelotti, the Madrid manager, expressed his surprise at Bellingham's level of performance, stating that the young star is the player who is currently making the difference for the team.

Bellingham's first goal came in the 68th minute with an impressive long-range shot that equalized the score after Barcelona's Ilkay Gündogan had put them ahead in the sixth minute. But it was Bellingham's second goal in added time that sealed the victory for Madrid, propelling them to the top of the LaLiga table with 28 points.

"We're surprised. Everyone is surprised by his level and his level of efficiency up front," Ancelotti commented in his post-match news conference. "He gets into the box, but today the shot surprised us, he scored a stupendous goal... Right now he's the player who's making the difference."

Bellingham's extraordinary goal-scoring form has seen him score 10 goals in just 10 league appearances this season, making him the top scorer in the division. In all competitions, he has netted an impressive total of 13 goals, including three in the Champions League.

"He seems like a veteran, his attitude is very good," Ancelotti praised. "The equalizer changed the dynamic completely, it meant more strength for us and more weakness for Barcelona, who had played better until then."

Luka Modric, Bellingham's midfield partner, further added to the praise, stating, "He's a top lad, an extraordinary talent. Even he can't believe the goals he's scoring. It isn't a coincidence, he's fallen on his feet."

The first half of the match saw Madrid struggle, failing to register a single shot on target. Ancelotti's halftime team talk seemed to have had a significant impact on the team's performance in the second half.

"I told them you can lose these games but if we had to lose, we had to do it differently," Ancelotti revealed. "More energy, more motivation, better in the duels. From what they did in the second half, [the team] agreed with what I said."

Despite Bellingham's remarkable goal-scoring prowess, Ancelotti urged forwards Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo Goes to contribute more in terms of goals. While Bellingham has been impressive in finding the back of the net, Ancelotti emphasized the need for the forwards to step up and contribute significantly.

"20 to 25 goals, [Bellingham] can get to comfortably," Ancelotti expressed. "He's started well, but we don't think of him as a goalscorer, we think he's a very important player for us who's scoring a lot of goals right now. We need goals from the forwards too."

With Bellingham's exceptional form and the team's renewed energy, Real Madrid remains a force to be reckoned with in LaLiga as they aim to maintain their position at the top of the table.
