In an exceptional display of dominance, the Florida State Seminoles football team has achieved several remarkable feats this season, culminating in their place in the ACC Championship Game for the first time since 2014. With a perfect 12-0 record, Florida State joins the elite ranks of the program's previous undefeated teams in 1999, 2013, and 2014.

Currently ranked 4th in the Associated Press poll, the Seminoles have now spent 13 consecutive weeks in the top 5, the team's longest streak since 2013-2014 when they remained in the top 5 for 27 consecutive polls. Facing off against the Louisville Cardinals, Florida State aims to continue their winning streak, currently standing at an impressive 18 games, which marks the longest active streak in the ACC and the third-longest active streak in the country.

One of the key aspects of Florida State's success has been their formidable defense. Their pass defense has been exceptional, leading the nation in opponent completion percentage at 47.6% and registering a staggering 67 pass breakups. Additionally, their defense ranks second in total passes defended (76) and fourth in fewest passing touchdowns allowed (8), showcasing their ability to stifle opposing offenses.

The Seminoles' defensive prowess has extended to their ability to limit their opponents' scoring. Incredibly, Florida State has held every opponent this season to fewer than 30 points, establishing a 12-game streak that stands as the longest active streak in the ACC and the third-longest active streak in the country. This achievement has not been reached by the team since their impressive 12-game streak in 2015.

The Florida State offense has not lagged behind their strong defensive counterparts. Leading the ACC in scoring offense with an average of 38.8 points per game, the Seminoles rank 10th nationally in this category. Adding to their offensive prowess, Florida State has also excelled in the passing game, with a passing offense that ranks 26th in the country, averaging 276.5 yards per game.

The Seminole special teams have also made significant contributions to the team's success. Florida State boasts the ACC's leading kickoff return average at 27.08 yards per return, while their net punting average of 43.54 yards per punt ranks them fourth nationally.

As Florida State prepares for the ACC Championship Game, their impressive statistics become even more significant. With a top-ranked scoring defense (16.8 points allowed per game) and scoring offense (38.8 points per game) in the ACC, the Seminoles stand as the only team in the conference and one of four nationally to rank in the top 12 in both categories.

With their unrelenting pursuit of excellence and history-making accomplishments, the Florida State Seminoles are primed for a formidable performance in the ACC Championship Game. As they continue their pursuit of both conference and national glory, the expectations for this talented team run high.
