Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre has raised eyebrows by speculating that pop superstar Taylor Swift could be a potential distraction for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and may take the blame if the team fails to secure a spot in the Super Bowl this year. Favre's comments came during a recent interview with TMZ.

When asked about the impact of Swift's highly publicized romance with Kelce, Favre expressed his thoughts saying, "I think it'll be a distraction if they don't make it to the Super Bowl. If they don't win it or get to the Super Bowl, people are going to say, 'That's why.'"

Despite the potential distraction, Favre remains confident in the Chiefs' chances of making it to the championship game. The Super Bowl, scheduled to take place on February 11, is set to be held at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. The highly-anticipated halftime show will be headlined by Grammy-winning R&B icon Usher and presented by Apple Music.

In the meantime, the Chiefs are gearing up to face the Miami Dolphins in a Wild Card playoff game on Saturday, January 13, at their home stadium, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Taylor Swift herself has been a visible presence at Chiefs' games, ringing in the New Year by supporting her boyfriend as the team secured a victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. She was also seen at the Chiefs' Christmas game against the Las Vegas Raiders. While the Chiefs were unable to secure a win that day, Kelce expressed his gratitude for the festive atmosphere, stating on his New Heights podcast on December 29, "It ended well, with good Christmas cheer and great people. That's always gonna save Christmas, no matter if you lose to the Raiders or not."

As the Chiefs progress through the playoffs, all eyes will be on their performance and whether Taylor Swift's presence on the sidelines will indeed prove to be a distraction or simply a supportive presence.
