Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence expressed her love for "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" (RHOSLC) during an interview at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Lawrence, known for her enthusiastic personality, called it the "best reality TV finale, I think, ever."
Speaking with E! Reporter Keltie Knight on the red carpet, Lawrence couldn't contain her excitement about the fourth-season finale of RHOSLC, which had aired a few days earlier. She revealed that she was so engrossed in the episode that she didn't even glance at her phone or text anyone.
"I was jaw-on-the-floor. I didn't even text," Lawrence exclaimed. "I didn't even look at my phone while watching it."
Going a step further, when asked if the cast members of "RHOSLC" deserve an Oscar for their performances, Lawrence didn't hesitate to offer her own Academy Award. "I'll give 'em mine! I don't care. They deserve it!"
The highly-anticipated season finale featured cast members Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Angie Katsanevas confronting new member Monica Garcia. The confrontation centered around Garcia's involvement with the infamous Reality Von Tease Instagram account, which had been trolling the Housewives for years. Although Garcia initially denied her connection to the account, she eventually admitted to being one of multiple operators. However, she claimed to have only targeted former cast member Jen Shah, who was embroiled in legal troubles.
During the Golden Globes red carpet interview with Nischelle Turner from "Entertainment Tonight," Lawrence described the "RHOSLC" finale as the "best finale I have ever seen on reality TV. Oh my God! Wow." She even gave a dramatic reenactment of Heather's performance, which she called "amazing."
While Lawrence is a fan of various "Real Housewives" shows, she clarified that "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" is not her ultimate favorite. She professed her preference for "Beverly Hills" and expressed her excitement about the revamped cast of "Real Housewives of New York," predicting that they "are going to round out nicely."
Lawrence admitted to watching the "RHOSLC" season finale a few days after it aired. She emphasized that she was completely sober and captivated by the show and its cast.
"I want a painting of the moment where they're all on the beach," Lawrence gushed about a memorable scene where Heather reveals Monica's betrayal to Lisa, Meredith, and Whitney. "The different looks on their faces. It was amazing. And they were like a little band of witches. You know, like, they all fight and they came together for this amazing moment."
Fans of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" can look forward to the three-part Season 4 reunion, which begins on Tuesday on Bravo. Part 2 and Part 3 will air on subsequent Tuesdays, allowing viewers to delve further into the drama and revelations brought forth by the cast members.
