Hollywood megastar George Clooney, 62, showcased his gentlemanly demeanor as he shielded his stunning wife Amal, 45, from the rain at a special screening of his latest movie "The Boys In The Boat" in London on Sunday. Clooney, who not only directed the period drama but also stars in it, ensured Amal was protected from the downpour as she graced the red carpet in a chic black ensemble.

Amal, the epitome of sophistication, stole the show in a sculpted velvet bodice that teased a glimpse of her toned midriff. Completing the look with a fitted pencil skirt and stylish stilettos, she exuded class and elegance. With glamorous makeup and a bright red lip, her glossy brunette tresses cascaded down her shoulders, adding to her allure.

Meanwhile, George looked dapper in a tailored grey suit paired with a crisp white shirt worn open at the collar. The Hollywood heartthrob sported his salt and pepper locks perfectly styled and his facial hair neatly trimmed.

"The Boys In The Boat," based on Daniel James Brown's 2013 novel, recounts the story of the University of Washington's rowing team during the Great Depression and their historic journey towards winning gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The cast includes Joel Edgerton, Sam Strike, Jack Mulhern, and Callum Turner.

Callum Turner, who portrays Joe Rantz in the movie, revealed that the cast underwent six weeks of rigorous rowing training to prepare for their roles. The film beautifully captures the men's financial struggles and their determination to succeed in the face of adversity.

Despite the inclement weather, the power couple appeared in high spirits at the star-studded screening, with George signing autographs for fans who braved the rain to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars.

In recent interviews, George revealed his children's exposure to rock music, sharing that they have developed a penchant for headbanging to heavy metal tunes. The renowned actor and director also expressed his support for Fran Drescher, the president of SAG-AFTRA, applauding her for securing an unprecedented billion-dollar deal from studios after the recent strike.

"The Boys In The Boat" is set to release in the UK on January 12, promising audiences a captivating journey through history and the triumph of the human spirit.
