Bosch: Legacy Concludes its Run on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee

In an announcement made by Vernon Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon MGM Studios, it has been revealed that the hit crime series, "Bosch: Legacy," will be coming to an end after its upcoming third season set to launch in March. The show, which has been a defining series for Prime Video, Freevee, and Amazon MGM Studios for the past decade, will bid farewell to its beloved characters and storyline.
"Bosch: Legacy" chronicles the journey of retired homicide detective-turned-private investigator, Harry Bosch, portrayed by Titus Welliver. The gripping narrative follows Bosch as he embarks on a new chapter in his career, accompanied by the struggles of attorney Honey "Money" Chandler, played by Mimi Rogers, who battles to keep her faith in the justice system after surviving a murder attempt. Additionally, the series introduces viewers to Maddie Bosch, portrayed by Madison Lintz, as she navigates the possibilities and challenges of being a rookie patrol cop on the streets of Los Angeles.
Although "Bosch: Legacy" will be coming to a close, fans will be delighted to know that the Bosch Universe will continue to expand. An untitled spinoff series is set to premiere on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee in the fall of 2025. The spinoff will star Maggie Q as cold case detective Renée Ballard, providing an exciting continuation of the Bosch world for avid viewers.
