In a new royal biography titled "My Mother and I" by Ingrid Seward, disturbing details about King Charles' memory issues and unconventional health remedies have come to light. The book sheds light on Charles' childhood health problems, his current struggle with memory, and his unique methods to combat sinus issues.

According to Seward, the biography's author and Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine, the 75-year-old King has been grappling with a worsening short-term memory. To cope with this, Charles reportedly writes down his thoughts on notes that he keeps in his breast pocket. While the King possesses vast historical knowledge, it is his day-to-day memory that appears to be troublesome, leading him to describe it as "appalling."

The book also reveals a peculiar tactic employed by the King to combat sinus problems. Charles allegedly sleeps in an oxygen tent, displaying his lack of sympathy towards trivial ailments. This unusual measure is likely an attempt to address his own personal health issues.

Seward delves into Charles' childhood health struggles, including frequent illnesses and tonsil removal at the age of eight. She describes his time at his first boarding school, Cheam, where he was considered uncoordinated and overweight. The biography states that Charles had difficulty adapting to the regime of cold showers and freezing dormitories.

It was during a trip to Australia at the age of 17 that Charles developed a passion for sports such as polo and skiing, which later earned him the nickname "action man."

In a surprising turn of events, Buckingham Palace announced earlier this month that King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer. However, the diagnosis is unrelated to his earlier health issues. The monarch is currently undergoing regular treatment for this condition, leading him to postpone his public-facing duties as advised by doctors. Both Prince William and Prince Harry were reportedly informed of their father's diagnosis.

In a recent interview with ABC's Good Morning America, Prince Harry, who flew back to the UK to visit his father after the diagnosis, expressed his love for his family and emphasized the importance of familial unity during challenging times. He hopes that his father's illness can bring the Royal Family together, stating that illnesses often serve as catalysts for unification.

Amidst his treatment, King Charles was seen driving around near Sandringham, displaying resilience and strength during this difficult period. The monarch broke his silence with a heartfelt letter published by Sandringham House, thanking individuals for their support and emphasizing the importance of sharing his diagnosis to raise awareness and support cancer patients and their families.

Although specifics regarding the exact form of cancer have not been disclosed, Buckingham Palace has confirmed that King Charles does not have prostate cancer. The diagnosis was made during an investigation conducted while he was receiving treatment for a benign enlarged prostate.

Meanwhile, Queen Camilla, who has been fulfilling her royal duties whilst King Charles undergoes treatment, recently met with Poppy makers at Clarence House to mark the centenary of The Poppy Factory. She also engaged with individuals whose lives have been positively impacted by civilian employment support.

As the King continues his treatment, the Royal Family remains united, rallying behind him during this challenging time. The love and support from his family and the public, as well as his own determination, provide encouragement as he confronts these health issues head-on.
