In a recent episode of Greg Kelly Reports, Newsmax host Greg Kelly expressed his disapproval of Taylor Swift fans who he believes "idolize" the pop superstar, stating that it is akin to committing a sin. The controversial comments came after Swift made an appearance at the AFC Championship final, where she watched her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs secure a spot in the Super Bowl.

While Kelly admitted to enjoying some of Swift's songs, he made it clear that he does not care for the "hardcore Taylor Swift fans" and their extreme adoration of the singer. Kelly went on to criticize the fans for elevating Swift to the status of an idol, referring to the act as idolatry. He even claimed that looking it up in the Bible would confirm that worshipping anyone other than God is a sin.

Not stopping there, Kelly also expressed skepticism about Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce, labeling it as a "publicity stunt." He speculated that the Biden campaign might exploit the couple's popularity for an endorsement in the upcoming presidential election, alleging that Swift has a track record of aligning herself with Democratic causes.

However, a recent poll conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies for Newsweek revealed a mixed response from voters regarding Swift's potential endorsement. While 18 percent of respondents said they would be more likely to vote for a candidate backed by Swift, 17 percent said they would be less inclined to do so.

Swift, who has never publicly disclosed her political preferences, previously vowed to use her voice to oppose former President Trump in the 2020 election. Despite the controversy surrounding her involvement in politics, Swift continues to attract attention not only for her music but also for her public appearances and relationships.

During the AFC Championship game, Swift was seen in one of the luxury suites alongside Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as well as Keleigh Sperry and Cara Delevingne. She cheered on Kelce, who had an impressive performance, catching 11 passes for 116 yards.

After the Chiefs secured their spot in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, Swift was spotted walking onto the field with Kelce's parents, Donna and Ed. The couple shared embraces and affectionate moments on the field, further solidifying their publicized relationship.

As the Super Bowl approaches, Swift is expected to make her presence felt in the luxury suites at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kansas City's journey to the big game and Swift's accompanying presence may continue to garner attention and spark debates.

The controversy surrounding Taylor Swift's fans and her relationship with Travis Kelce has ignited a discussion about celebrity idolatry and political influence. Whether these factors will have any significant impact on the upcoming election remains to be seen as voters weigh their opinions and make their choices at the polls.
